3d printing is something that can benefit alot of things and alot of people. I like to look at 3d Printing as somewhat of a miracle technology, one of those ideas that only comes every couple of decades and blows everyone's minds. This is something that has almost to much benefits to even be explained completly, but the ultimate examples of how much this can help the world includes that of prothetics, tools, computer technology, cheaper car part replacements, space exploration utility to the much more simpler every day needs like entertainment hardware, instruments, kitchenware, furniture and probably a million more advantages.
This will change the world in a way probably never seen or only seen upon the birth of the first factory and the start of mass production. This will take china off the throne of the mass-manufacturing powerhouse of the world and set things to a much more local creation process. A smarter manufacturing process means a better economy for the country lowering the cost of certain products if not most or if you havn't already made the product your self at home with your own 3d printer. Its a big pictures made of many smaller pictures waiting to be pieced together to truly show the world how much it can be changed by this.
One of the most beneficial aspects of 3d printing is prosthetic, but also medical needs. This includes many not so much tools but hospital beds, and aligning with prosthetic, artificial organs and posibly even bones. Depending on the realization of how beneficial 3d printing can be among society, this could really be a huge selling product in the U.S. considering the way of living in this country, it's something that perfectly compliments what wheir constantly needing on the daily basis.
Going back to china being dethroned from its lead world manufacturing, the thousands of workers needed to construct most of the products we use that are made in china, would be replaced by only 100's of 3d printing machines, working even faster. Cleaner enviroments would be another advantage due to the printing material needed to process and create the product. Why wouldn't we accept this into daily living, and if there were any reason, the reasons 3d printing should be apart of our daily lives would definently outweigh the reasons it shouldn't.
There are downfalls, dangers, and risks of 3d printing, but everyday you get into a car to drive, everyday you walk out the door, there are risks, but you do it anyways to better your life.
